About
Founded in Brescia in 2015, A.M. Arte Moderna Gallery was established with the mission of promoting, researching, and preserving works that represent significant milestones in the history of twentieth-century and contemporary art. The gallery’s program is dedicated to artists of established historical importance, with a particular focus on leading Italian postwar masters and major figures of the international avant-garde.
Every artwork is selected through a rigorous process of research and evaluation, taking into account its provenance, exhibition history, bibliography, condition, and historical significance. The gallery’s objective extends beyond presenting works of exceptional quality; it is committed to offering collectors artworks accompanied by comprehensive documentation that reflects their history, authenticity, and cultural importance.
The gallery is located at 6/a Via Arnaldo Soldini, Brescia, within the historic Roberto Ferrari cotton mill. Carefully restored by architect Roberto Falconi, the building preserves the character of its original industrial architecture, retaining its historic columns, dormer windows, and distinctive architectural volumes while integrating them seamlessly into a contemporary exhibition space. Two spacious galleries provide an elegant and understated setting, designed to foster a direct and meaningful dialogue between the visitor and the artwork.
Alongside its exhibition program, A.M. Arte Moderna Gallery provides independent advisory services to private collectors, art professionals, corporations, and institutions. The gallery assists clients in building and managing collections, sourcing significant works of art, conducting valuations, and facilitating acquisitions and private sales with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
The gallery also welcomes proposals for the acquisition of individual artworks and entire collections, with particular interest in works of outstanding historical, artistic, and collecting significance.
Art is an enduring testament to the culture of its time. For this reason, every artwork entrusted to A.M. Arte Moderna Gallery is regarded not merely as a collectible object, but as a historical document worthy of preservation, scholarly study, and transmission to future generations.
